We affirm the following doctrinal beliefs:
⇨ The Inspiration of the Bible: We firmly believe that both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are divinely inspired by God. It is the ultimate authority in matters of faith, doctrine, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16,17).
⇨ The Scriptures: We believe that all of Scripture (i.e. both the Old and New Testament) is verbally inspired by God, and is our final authority in all matters pertaining to doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16,17).
⇨ The Triune God: We believe in the existence of one true God, eternally existing in three distinct persons – the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. These three persons are unified in essence, nature, and attributes (1 John 5:7).
⇨ The Deity of Jesus Christ: We hold fast to the belief in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, acknowledging His virgin birth, His sacrificial death on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation, righteousness, and eternal life (1 Corinthians 1:30-31).
⇨ The Work of the Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, fully divine, inspired the Scriptures, enables understanding of truth, convicts of sin, and calls to salvation. He baptizes believers, cultivates character, bestows gifts, and assures redemption. He empowers worship, evangelism, and service, guaranteeing conformity to Christ (Galatians 3:2).
⇨ Salvation through Christ: We proclaim that all who repent of their sins and place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord are born again, receiving the gift of salvation (Acts 20:20-21; Romans 10:9-13).
⇨ The Resurrection and Judgment: We firmly believe in the bodily resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked. The righteous will receive everlasting life, while the wicked will face eternal damnation (Matthew 25:46).
⇨ The Second Coming of Christ: We anticipate the literal and physical return of the Lord Jesus Christ. He will come again to gather His followers and establish His eternal kingdom (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 4:16-17).
⇨ The Universal and Local Church: We affirm that the universal church is comprised of all genuine believers who have received salvation through Christ. We also emphasize the importance of fellowship and active participation in a local church community (Ephesians 1:22-23; Hebrews 10:25).
