CULTURE AND GLOBALIZATION

Course Description:

Culture has always been an important aspect of sociological, behavioral, and economic studies. Human behavior has many stimuli and motivations, and culture is one of the most important influences. The norms and values dictated by cultures can be used to accurately predict the behavior of the individuals. The actions covered by these behaviors have a wide range: from everyday life to social affairs; from business dealings to consumer behavior.

Globalization, on the other hand, is a relatively new phenomenon. Its relevance and importance has been increased with the advancement of technology and opening of economic barriers. For the sake of having more creativity and a wider range of ideas, organizations prefer that they have teams and groups of individuals from different ethnic and geographic backgrounds.
