As the new year of 2023 approaches, it’s a great time for students at Exodus University to reflect on their Christian perspective and how it can guide their actions and decisions in the coming year. Here are a few key things to consider as you navigate your studies and personal life in the coming months:

Prioritize your relationship with God. It’s easy to get caught up in the demands of school, work, and other commitments, but it’s important to make time for prayer, Bible study, and fellowship with other believers. This will keep you grounded in your faith and give you the strength and guidance you need to navigate challenges that may come your way.

Seek to serve others. As followers of Christ, we are called to serve and love others. Look for opportunities to volunteer your time and talents at your church, in your community, or even on campus. This can be a rewarding way to make a difference in the world and grow in your faith.

Be a witness for Christ. As a Christian, you have the privilege and responsibility of sharing the love and hope of Jesus with others. Be intentional about sharing your faith with friends, classmates, and others you encounter in your daily life. You never know who might be impacted by your words and actions.

Persevere through struggles. As you face challenges and difficulties in the coming year, remember that God is with you and will give you the strength to endure. Trust in his plan for your life and know that he will use even the most difficult circumstances for your good and his glory.

As you begin the new year, take some time to prayerfully consider these perspectives and how they can shape your thoughts, actions, and decisions in the coming months. May God bless you and guide you as you seek to honor him in all you do.

As students at Exodus University, it is important to remember that our ultimate goal is to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and to become more like him. This can be accomplished through setting educational goals that align with God’s Word and his desires for our lives.

One educational goal for 2023 could be to seek wisdom and understanding. In Proverbs 4:7, we are told to “get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.” This means seeking out knowledge and understanding from God’s Word and seeking counsel from godly mentors.

Another goal could be to use our education for the glory of God and to serve others. In Colossians 3:23, we are reminded to “work at everything you do with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” This means using the talents and gifts God has given us to serve others and to bring honor to his name.

It is also important to prioritize our relationship with God above our studies. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus says, “seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” While it is important to excel in our studies, our relationship with God should be our top priority.

As we enter into the new year of 2023, let us remember to set educational goals that honor God and help us grow in our relationship with him. By seeking wisdom, using our education to serve others, and prioritizing our relationship with God, we can be sure that we are using our education for his glory.
